Onlookers recalled how the steering-wheel bag inflated upon impact, hitting the Black Eyed Peas rapper in the face and leaving him with a bloody nose.

safety device is thought to have inflated on Cole's side, with the
newspaper claiming that the 29-year old could have banged her head on
the dashboard. The Under The Sun singer was allegedly seen with blood pouring from her nose and over her lips, as she clutched her face and compressed her wound with her sleeve.
Will.I.Am was then seen checking the former X Factor judge over, tenderly stroking her head. His left hand was said to be smeared with blood from his injury.
The Sun claims that police soon arrived at the incident before The Voice coach was taken to nearby Cedars Sinai hospital for a full check up. Cole was given treatment at the scene.
Cheryl has since taken to Twitter to assure her fans that she is OK after the accident, posting: "Don't worry me and @iamwill are fine, promise x."
Will later confirmed that he had suffered whiplash, adding: "Car accidents are not dope...I'm glad I'm o.k."
The rap star's manager Polo Molina also tweeted: "Just spoke to @iamwill everything is OK. he and @cherylcole are both fine. it was a minor fender bender after a long day/night in the studio.
"They are both OK. a little bit shaken BUT thankfull that noone got hurt."
